Introduction

I’m not exactly sure how to open this up so I figure I’ll just get right into it. My name is Frank Schwantner, at the time of writing this I am a 23 year old graduate student studying clinical mental health counseling. My study in this field is largely due to how interesting people are to me. I’m primarily interested in understanding a person’s behavior and the motivation behind it.

Aside from this, I also study more general philosophical concepts such as ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, political philosophy, etc. I’m simply curious about everything; how things work, how people work, how things and people should work. Often when I think of these things I tend to lose ideas while they’re replaced by new ones. My main reason for creating this platform is to act as a sort of library to collect my thoughts allowing me to look back, reflect, and likely change my mind.

This platform will be filled with some of my own thoughts as well as analyses and critiques of others’ ideas. While I have many on my mind now, I think it is best I focus on setting up the platform and figuring out how I am going to navigate it. I am constantly writing thoughts down so posts will come, I am trying to work out a schedule in my mind for posts to be published. Last minute polishing is in order. With that, I will close this ramble. See you soon.
